If the proper level of vitamin E is maintained in the body, it will reduce the risk of heart diseases as well as cancer. The free radicals which cause damage to the body are produced when your body is exposed to the ultraviolet rays. These compounds are also produced from the exposure to the air pollution, and also during the conversion of food into energy.

Proper level of vitamin E in the body also boosts the immune system making you less vulnerable to contagious diseases. It has been observed that people with lower levels of vitamin E are more prone to getting sick quickly due to the impaired immune system. Proper intake of the food containing this vitamin or the right dosage of the vitamin E supplements restores the proper functioning of the immune system. Include eggs, nuts, liver, and vegetables to increase the vitamin E level in your body.
